CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY The amount refunded upon cancellation of an enrolment for a Professional Development (PD) event organised by the Victorian College of Optometry (VCO) varies according to type and proximity of the cancellation to the event. 1. All cancelations attract a minimum $35 administration fee. 2. Clinical Workshops enrolments cancelled within 2 weeks will not attract refund unless the position vacated by the cancellation is filled. 3. Short course enrolments cancelled in the week prior to the event will attract a maximum refund of 50% of the total enrolment fee. 4. Melbourne Cup Conference (MCC) enrolemtns cancelled after 1 September will attract a maximum refund of 50% of the total enrolment fee. 5. MCC enrolments cancelled after october 1 will not attract any refund (100% cancellation fee). DISCOUNT POLICY A 50% discount applies to members and affiliates who engage in no more than 10 hours of paid work each week. ENROLMENT POLICY Optometrists who are not members or affiliates of the VCO may enrol in any event but pay a surcharge of $55 (inc. GST) for each enrolment.

Grand Rounds are in great demand and it would be unfair if a place were unfilled through late cancellation. An 85% refund is made if 2 weeks or more notice of cancellation is given. For cancellation in less than two weeks there is a 50% refund if the place is filled otherwise no refund is made. For other workshops and courses an 85% refund is made on cancellation prior to the event. Cancellations on the day do not attract a refund.

Discount
A discount of
50% applies to members who engage in no more than 10 hours of paid work per week. This discount does not apply to Grand Rounds or No Frills lectures.
