 ::  Code of Ethics & Practice Standards

All optometrists who are members of the Victorian College of Optometry (VCO) are expected to practise in accordance with the VCO Code of Ethics and Practice Standards.

The Code of Ethics sets out broad obligations and principles for optometrists in their provision of care to patients and in their professional activities.

The Practice Standards describe the expected professional conduct of optometrists and management of everyday issues encountered in professional practice.

The Practice Standards have undergone significant review in 2008/2009.
