The internet provides access to a wide range of resources for learning in optometry and the vision sciences. The addresses of some of these are given below. Some are located in the library and this list tells you where they are. We also prepare our own interactive learning programmes which are on our file server and can be used simply by clicking on the title in the list below.

  This Web page provides an annotated library of standard data sets, which are relevant to color and vision research and which can be easily downloaded.
• The Book of Visual Perception: A Web Book
  Peter K. Kaiser. York University
  A graphical guide to visual perception.
• The On-Line Medical Dictionary
  OMD is a searchable dictionary created by Dr Graham Dark. Access: Public. No username or password required.
• The Australian Prescription Products Guide (alternative to MIMS) is accessible online. This guide is updated monthly, and includes all OTC and prescriptiondrugs. Must register to use it (no cost).

• The LASIK Institute a non-profit organization dedicated to education about LASIK, has an informational website about this mode of refractive surgery.

  This is an interesting site for text book info on eye diseases.
