Where to find CVRA

We are located on the corner of Cardigan and Keppel Streets in Carlton, a few minutes from the main campus of the University of Melbourne, only 4km north of the centre of the city.

From the City

Take any tram in Swanston St with the destination University of Melbourne. Get off at the University terminus at stop number 1 and it is a 5 minute walk to Optometry. 

Trams No. 1 East Coburg and Tram No. 8 Moreland from the City continue past the University terminus. If you get off at stop No. 112 at the corner of Elgin and Lygon Streets, it is a shorter walk. 

From the Eastern Suburbs

Bus No. 200 comes from Bulleen, 201 from the Westfield shopping centre and 207 from Mitcham. Get off at the corner of Elgin and Lygon Streets in Carlton. Optometry is just a few minutes walk away. 

From the Southern Suburbs

All these trams go to the University of Melbourne Terminus

• 67 from Carnegie 
• 3 from East Malvern 
• 6&7 from Glen Iris 
• 8 from Toorak 
• 16 from St Kilda Beach 
• 72 from Camberwell and Malvern
• 1 from South Melbourne takes you directly to the corner of Elgin and Lygon Streets. 

From the Northern Suburbs

Trams No. 1 from East Coburg and No. 8 from Moreland bring you to to the corner of Elgin and Lygon Streets in Carlton.
