:: General Clinic
The Melbourne Optometry Clinic provides primary eyecare in its general
and student clinics at its Carlton site and at all regional clinics. Comprehensive
examinations are provided to all patients and glasses or contact lenses
are available to patients where necessary.
The Clinic does not provide visual aids to people who are not patients
of the Clinic.
Services
The general clinic is the primary clinic of the organisation and
is generally the inital clinic you will be seen in. You will be referred
to specialist clinics as required.
You will receive a comprehensive eye examination and
discussion of your visual needs. All types of lenses are available
in the Clinic and the most suitable option will be identified.
Eligibility
The Melbourne Optometry Clinic is not open to all members of
the general public. For further information refer to the eligibility page.
No referral is required unless you are under the care of another
eye care practitioner.
